“Enlightenment, peace, and joy will not be granted by someone else. The well is within us, And if we dig deeply in the present moment, The water will spring forth”
Hi, welcome! Pull up a chair and let’s connect. My name is Anabelle and I am a registered dietitian to be , master gardener, yoga and meditation instructor, and lover of no-nonsense health and nutrition, sharing tools for you to shift from blah to oh yeahh. I’m passionate about sharing wholesome meals with loved ones and teaching the art of mindfulness meditation so you can eat well, stress less and feel AMAZING. I’m also known to make a mean caipirinha and believe that balance is key for a thriving and healthy life.
I currently lead workshops and retreats on mindful nutrition around the globe. I offer nutrition coaching for private clients addressing various nutritional and lifestyle issues, and develop recipes and content for brands and media outlets.
I received my Masters from the Nutrition Communications and Behavior Change program at Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and I am currently completing my clinical rotations at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard teaching hospital and ranked #1 hospital in the country. My past work experiences includes serving as the Culinary Operations Manager at The Purple Carrot and Social Media Manager for ChildObesity180, a public health non-profit and Cleanly, a tech start-up in New York City.
My interest in nutrition sparked while working in an urban farming and community development program for under-served youth in Massachusetts. I spent several years working internationally including volunteering in Nepal, India, Canada and Israel in urban gardens, environmental and health education, and food justice programs. I’ve worked in public policy with anti-hunger organizations and volunteered with oncology patients at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Throughout the course of my graduate studies I became fascinated with how mindfulness affects our health and nutrition, and in the summer of 2018, I will complete my certificate in Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training.
I hope this site helps you try a new recipe, learn something new, and help you live your most healthy and happy life.
